Dr Vinita Panikker - Clinical Lead

I qualified as a doctor in 2004, I initially trained and gained qualifications in Hospital Medicine before becoming a GP. I have been a GP at HIM since 2012 and have taken on the Clinical Lead role as of 2015.  This has allowed me to invest time in the advancement of the practice and developing new services on-site alongside my regular clinical sessions.  My specialty areas are General Medicine including Gastroenterology & Cardiology, Women’s Health, Alcohol and Substance Misuse problems.  I thoroughly enjoy working with homeless and vulnerable people, I particularly find it rewarding when patients who have registered with us at an extremely difficult time in their lives can progress with our help and once again regain their confidence and independence.

Dr Nazia Ahmed

I qualified as a Doctor from UCL in 2006 and completed my GP training in Watford in August 2012. I joined HIM the same year; initially as a Locum doctor and now as a Part time salaried GP. I've learnt a great deal in this time and enjoy the challenges of dealing with patients with a history of substance misuse and homelessness, appreciating the vast social and psychological needs in this patient group. It's hugely satisfying to be able to facilitate a positive change and make a difference to their physical and mental health. In addition I have an interest in general medicine, family planning and gynaecology. I do also locum at other surgeries during the rest of the week mainly in the borough of Brent.

We also have several Locum Doctors working at the practice they are Dr Nonyelum Agomo-F, Dr Faisal Chowdhury and Dr Nutan Kumar.
