The Managing Director and Practice Manager are involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Mrs Julie Madley - Managing Director
In 2010 we as a PCT practice utilised a government policy called ‘Right to Request’.
This enabled us to present a business case to our then Primary Care Trust. Our business plan was successful; we were awarded the contract to run our service as a Social Enterprise. Health Inclusion Matters Community Interest Company was set up in 2011.
It has been a great opportunity; I believe everyone deserves a chance and I am passionate about delivering excellent healthcare and so much more to our patients. Enhancing patient access and providing a welcoming, safe place for those who need it. Bringing in the experts in healthcare including mental health, social care and addiction for our homeless multi complex people. Developing care pathways for our patients within the local community. Embracing partnership working effectively, using great services that are already established and provided in the local community, working together with local agencies and our patients to fill gaps in services
We have definitely made an impact on Watford and Three Rivers local communities, our recent patient and stakeholder engagement survey responses tell us so!
As the Managing Director I look back over the last 6 years and feel incredibly proud to have led, the then Meadowell practice through many changes, from starting up a successful Social Enterprise that has been trading for 6 + years. We have built a fantastically supportive team; that provide an amazing service, we are committed to make a difference.
Ms Yvette Romano - Practice Manager
I joined Health Inclusion Matters in January 2015 after working for seven years running the office in a large mainstream doctors surgery in Bushey. It is a great place to work, there is true teamwork here and it is very satisfying when you realise that you are working for a Surgery that has such a positive impact on its patients and the surrounding area.
Reception and Admin Team
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
Mrs Raksha Shah - Accounts Administrator
