The Managing Director and Practice Manager are involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

I joined Health Inclusion Matters in January 2015 after working for seven years running the office in a large mainstream doctors surgery in Bushey. It is a great place to work, there is true teamwork here and it is very satisfying when you realise that you are working for a Surgery that has such a positive impact on its patients and the surrounding area.
Reception and Admin Team
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

My name is Carol and i share reception duties along with Hilary and Alison. I have been here since October 2011, and although i have never worked in a surgery before, i have learnt so much and get a lot of job satisfaction meeting and helping the patients here. I feel this is a very worth while and much needed practice.
